Head

*using the Antique Gold Cotton yarn*

Round 1: Create a magic circle, work *2sc, 1dc* x2  into the magic circle, join. (6)

Round 2: Ch1, *2sc, 2 dcinc in same stitch* x2, no join. (12)

Round 3: *2sc, 4 scinc* x2 (20)

Round 4: 5sc, 2 scinc, 8 sc, 2 scinc, 3 sc. (24)

Round 5: 7sc, 2 scinc, 9 sc, 2scinc, 4 sc. (28)

Round 6-8: 28 sc. (28)

Round 9: 11sc, 6 scinc, 11 sc. (34)

*stuff the head, make sure not to lose the “snout”  by overstuffing.*

*ch1 and cut yarn leaving about 8-10 inches for sewing, pull through and close opening.*

Round 1: Create a magic circle, work 4 sc, no join. (4)

Round 2: 1 scinc, 2 sc, 1 scinc. (6)

Round 3:  3 sc, 1 scinc, 2 sc. (7)

Round 4: 1 scinc, 6sc. (8)

Round 5: 1 scinc, 7 sc. (9)

*Ch1, and cut yarn leaving 5 inches for sewing. Flatten the ears and  trace the shape on felt, cut the felt smaller then the ear in the same pointed oval shape. Attach ears to head between rounds 2-4 *

Round 10: 4 slst, 6 hdc,

*Ch1 and fasten off, cut yarn leaving 6-8 inches for sewing. Stuff with polyfil*

*Attach the legs to the body so that the hdc lay flat against the side of the body*

*Fold a pipe cleaner in half and insert the folded end into the head half way, then push the head and pipe cleaner into the top front of the body, sew to body to keep in place.*

Tail

*using the Antique Gold Cotton yarn*

Round 1: Create a magic circle, work 6 sc, join. (6)

Round 2: Ch1, 6 scinc, no join. (12)

Round 3: *1 scinc, 1sc* x6 (18)

Round 4: *2 sc, 1 scinc* x6. (24)

Round 5: *3 sc, 1 scinc* x6. (30)

Round 6-8:  30 sc. (30)

Round 9: *3 sc, 1 sctog* x6. (24)

Round 10: *2 sc, 1 sctog* x6. (18)

Round 11: *3 sc, 1 sctog, 2 sc, 1 sctog, 3 sc, 1 sctog, 2sc, 1 sctog,. (14)

*Switch to Yarn Bee Fur-Ever Yarn, Soft yellow, BEFORE joining to work, cut about 10 inches of yarn off to use as stuffing at the end.*

Round 12: 14 sc. (14)

Round 13: 14 Spike Puff Stitches at varying lengths.

*Note: each puff should only yarn over 3x before yarning over to pull through.*

Round 14: 14 sc. (14)

Round 15: *1 sctog, 5 sc* x2. (12)

Round 16:* 1 sctog, 2 sc* x3. (9)

*Stuff with polyfil, until you get to the fur yarn, then use the section of fur-ever yarn you cut earlier to stuff the tip.of the tail. *

Round 17: *1 sctog, 1 sc* x3. (6)

*Ch1 and fasten off, cut yarn leaving a few inches for sewing the opening closed, Stuff the tip with more fur yarn if needed before closing.*

*Fold a pipe cleaner in half and insert the folded end into the tail half way, then push the tail and pipe cleaner into the top back of the body, sew to body to keep in place.*

Neck Fur Pieces: Make x5

*Yarn Bee Fur-Ever Yarn, Soft yellow,*

Round 1: Create a magic circle, work 6 sc, join. (6)

Round 2: Ch1, *1 scinc, 1 sc* x3, no join. (9)

Round 3: *1 scinc, 2 sc* x3. (12)

ROund 4: *1 scinc, 3 sc* x3. (15)

Round 5: *1 scinc, 4 sc* x3. (18)

*Ch1 and fasten off, cut yarn leaving a few inches for sewing. Flatten and attach around the neck making sure the one directly under the chin overlaps on top of the adjacent pieces,*

*Add Final details such a small oval of black felt for the nose, and eyebrows using cotton thread*
