Fasten off and use the Amigurumi close method to close the hole.
Using the amigurumi piece join method
Attach the ears to the top of the body, stuff lightly.
Attach the arms between rounds 9-12. Stuff firmly. Needle felt the “kitty toes” onto the arms.
Attach the Legs between rounds 16-18, stuff lightly.
Needle Felt/glue/or sew on the smile with the dark grey yarn.
Cut and insert half a “pipe cleaner: into the tail, push any excess pipe cleaner into the back of the body between rounds 14-16. Sew the tail to the body around where you inserted the pipe cleaner.
Bongo: Make 2
Using Tan Yarn
Round 1: Create a magic circle, 6 sc worked into magic circle. Join. (6)
Round 2: Ch 1, 6 scinc, no join. (12)
Round 3: *1 sc, 1 scinc* repeat * 5 more times. (18)
Round 4: *2 sc, 1 scinc* repeat * 5 more times, Sl st to join, attach Brown yarn. Do Not cut Tan. (24)

After you make the first bongo, set aside and begin the second one, stop when you get to this point.
Take your brown “pipe cleaner” and insert it inside Bongo 1 from the opening, and out of Bongo 1 through any stitch between rounds 7-9. Then insert the same pipe cleaner into any stitch in round 7-9 of Bongo 2 so that the “pipe cleaner is level. Bend the Pipe cleaner and go through both Bongos til the end of the “pipe cleaner” is back inside Bongo 1. Twist the ends together to secure and cut the excess. The pipe cleaner is now connecting the two Bongo’s
Fill both Bongo’s with Polyfil.
Round 13: 6 sctog. (6)
Use the amigurumi close method to close the hole.
Using the Brown yarn, attach yarn to the front loop of Round 7, 1 sctog, Ch 3. Cut and sew yarn tail to Round 10. Do this 2 more times on the bongo evenly spaced out. Do this for each Bongo.
