Pink Triangle – .5cm x .5cm

Glue the white line to the middle of the black oval(horizontal), then glue the black oval to the yellow oval. Do the same for the second eye. Glue the eyes to the sides of the head.

Glue the pink nose to the center of the magic circle of the head.

Ears

Round 1:Ch 5, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc, 3 sc in last ch, rotate work 180 degrees, 3sc.  (9 stitches)

Horns

Using SImply Soft – Charcoal Heather

Make x2

Row 1:Ch 2, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook.(1 stitch)

Leave a tail for sewing, set aside. Attach the “Headpiece” above the head on Round 10 of the body, sew along the round so it makes a curved shape. Above the head piece, attach the horn so that they are slightly inset from the eyes when looking at the face.

Braids

Using the Slate Grey yarn, cut 6 strands to be 8 inches long and 2 strands to be 12 inches long.

Take 3 strands of 8 inches and tie a 12 inch long strand around the mid way point TIGHTLY.  Repeat with the other set of strands.

You will now have two “tassels”.

Use the pet slicker brush to brush the strands out, this will add bulk to the braid.Make sure you hold onto the knot you tied around the midpoint so strands don’t get pulled out.

Separate the “tassel” strands into 3 equal sections and braid (exclude the 12 inch strand tied in the middle).

Repeat for second “tassel” .

Sew the “tassels” to the head using the long 12 inch strand that was tied around the middle.

Hi, I’m a bit confused on the headpiece. I end up with one end of the headpiece having a larger end with a bump on one of the long sides. I started row 2 (the first scinc) on the underside of the first sc in row 1. Is this correct?

Hi hello, I was wondering if you could include a picture of the “head piece” by itself. I’m a bit lost. (This is actually my first time crocheting… but all the other pieces made sense to me!)
