Fasten off and cut the brown yarn, Cut the green yarn but leave a tail for sewing. Set aside.

Using Red, Purple, Blue, Orange, and Yellow yarn create French Knots on the green side of the piece to look like the “sprinkles”

Lastly cut a piece of plastic mesh to be 7 cm x 2.5 cm. Insert inside the tree and use the Mattress Stitch to close shut.

You can turn this into an ornament simply by adding a hook, or a piece of string, to hang from the tree.

If you wish to display this piece as part of the Gingerbread House project, Cut a pipe cleaner in half, loop the pipe cleaner around a few stitches in the back, and bend to create a kick stand.

Enjoy!! Merry Christmas !!

Love this – do you have a pattern for the “Little Debbie Christmas Cakes” that are shaped like a tree? Interested if so.

Cute – haven’t tried to make but may try soon.
